Images in Kairos
The Greeks give us two meanings for the word “time”.
Chronos is chronological time. Quite differently, Kairos refers to a very special moment where time does not exist in measurement.
The Images in Kairos are abstract photographs created using intentional camera movement. They are images which, for me, represent the essence of my subject. I like to think of this essence as spiritual energy.
By using a slow shutter speed and creative camera movement, I try to not only see the subject differently, but to experience its true energetic nature. No two images are the same. Each expresses a unique, unrepeatable moment.
